Bansilal Shah & Co., Chartered Accountants, was founded in 1954 in Udaipur by Mr. Bansilal Shah, a Chartered Accountant, as a proprietorship firm. In 1979, it transitioned into a partnership firm to offer a comprehensive range of Accounting, Assurance and Consultancy services.

1954
Shri Bansilal Shah laid the foundation of our firm in Udaipur as a proprietorship, setting the stage for generations to come.
1957
Shri Brij Mohan Lal Jain joined as a tax practitioner and established our Dungarpur office.
1978-79
CA Bansilal Shah was elected as President of Udaipur Tax Bar Association.
1979
CA Prakash Chandra Shah followed in his father’s footsteps, qualified and joined the firm, converting it into a partnership. He brought specialization in Litigations and Appeals.
1984
Like father like son, CA Arvind Shah joined the firm as a partner, contributing expertise in Company Law and ROC matters.
1988-89
CA Bansilal Shah was elected as Chairperson of Udaipur Branch of CIRC of ICAI.
1992-93
CA Prakash Chandra Shah was elected as President of Udaipur Tax Bar Association.
1994
CA Mukesh Kumar Jain, representing the second generation of the Jain family, became the first Chartered Accountant from his lineage. Beginning his journey as an article assistant within the firm, he rose to the position of partner, strengthening the practice with his expertise in Income Tax and Auditing.
1995-96
CA Arvind Shah was elected as Chairperson of Udaipur Branch of CIRC of ICAI.
2000-01
CA Prakash Chandra Shah was elected as Chairperson of Udaipur Branch of CIRC of ICAI.
2001
The firm opened a new branch in Mumbai, marking its presence in India’s financial capital.
2008-09
CA Arvind Shah was elected as President of Udaipur Tax Bar Association.
2011
CA Dhruv Shah, a third generation “Shah”, joined as partner after honing his skills at Deloitte and PwC. He brought with him deep expertise in Indirect Taxation along with International exposure, further strengthening the firm’s global perspective.
2015-16
CA Dhruv Shah was elected as Chairperson of Udaipur Branch of CIRC of ICAI.
2016
CA Bhowmick Jain, third generation of the Jain family, joined as partner, further expanding the Dungarpur division.
2018
CA CS Meenakshi Bherwani joined as partner, adding expertise in FEMA and Corporate Governance.
2024
The firm took a major step forward by establishing its Global Outsourcing Division, expanding services to international clients. CA Harshita Mandowara joined as Partner to lead the Global Outsourcing Division. With prior experience at KPMG in Accounting Advisory and as Assistant Manager in CFO Advisory, she brings global exposure and strategic expertise to drive this initiative.
2024
CA Chirag Lodha joined as Partner, adding specialization in Project Management, Financial Advisory, and Subsidies further broadening the firm’s capabilities.
